This easy air fryer kielbasa dinner comes together in just a few minutes and always gets rave reviews from the family. Because it’s quick and delicious, you’ll love this easy “all-in-one” dinner. In fact, the hardest part of this dish is chopping up your vegetables – I promise! You can substitute whatever vegetables you have on hand, but my favorite veggies to use usually include bell peppers, onion, potato, broccoli, green beans, Brussels sprouts, or sweet potatoes. If you want to add sweet potatoes or white potatoes, I suggest slicing thinly so they cook up at the same time as the rest of your vegetables.
How to Cook Kielbasa
My favorite way to cook kielbasa is in the air fryer. I like to slice it into pieces and air fry at 390 degrees for about 20-25 minutes (shaking halfway through). The oil in the smoked sausage helps the edges brown and crisp up and the inside stays nice and juicy. Air fryer kielbasa is simple AND delicious.
If you don’t have an air fryer, you can also cook your kielbasa on a sheet pan or just add to a skillet with a bit of oil to crisp up. Since kielbasa is already pre-cooked, you’re really just heating it up before you serve.
Additionally, to turn my air fryer kielbasa into a complete dinner, I added in some colorful vegetables.
Kielbasa and Veggies Dinner Ingredients
The great thing about this dish is that it’s so easy to substitute whatever you have on hand. It’s a great way of using up any vegetables you have on hand, and if you don’t have kielbasa on hand, you can use any pre-cooked, smoked sausage in this dish. This dinner is a staple at our house, and we mix up the vegetables, the sausage and the seasonings often. Think of my air fryer kielbasa and veggies recipe as a base recipe, and then have fun making it your own!

How to prepare Air Fryer Kielbasa and Veggies
First, prepare your vegetables. Wash and chop broccoli, onion, and bell peppers into bite size pieces. I like to lightly steam my green beans. And then thinly slice your potatoes (about 1/4 inch).
Slice your kielbasa into 1-inch chunks.
Add all the potatoes and vegetables to a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle in your cajun seasoning, paprika and dried thyme. Add salt and pepper to taste. Please note: many cajun seasoning mixes include a lot of salt, check your seasoning mix so you’re not over-salting your veggies.
Add vegetable mixture to your air fryer basket, and top with the kielbasa. Shake basket lightly to combine.
Air fry kielbasa and veggies at 390 degrees for about 20-25 minutes, or until potatoes are cooked through.
We recently switched from a traditional basket air fryer to a large combo air fryer. This baby air fries, roasts, bakes, toasts, and so much more. It’s replaced several of our other appliances and we love it! The oven feature alone has saved us so much money on energy costs, since there’s no need to heat up the whole oven to cook an average-sized dinner! I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS APPLIANCE.
