Healthy Yum Yum Sauce (Made with Greek Yogurt)

Today I'm excited to share my healthy yum yum sauce with you. We love Japanese-style hibachi dinners at our house. In fact, it's one of our favorite "celebration" dinners to enjoy out. And the best part? Drizzling that delicious yum yum sauce all over our chicken and vegetables! This is my take on a healthy yum yum sauce - lower calorie, higher protein and just as flavorful!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup (65g) fat free Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp (26g) mayo
  • 1 tsp (4g) melted butter
  • 2 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp (8g) tomato paste
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp (8g) sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 1-2 tsp water

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients except water to a small bowl and mix well. Add 1 - 2 tsp of water to thin yum yum sauce to desired consistency.
Cover, and refrigerate at least 4 hours to allow for flavors to meld.
  • This is a great base recipe, but feel free to tinker around. After it's had a chance to chill, taste and add more rice vinegar or sugar or garlic powder to taste.
